With all the many uncontrollable things happening in the world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and at a loss of how to feel protected and safe on this crazy planet of ours.

By using visualization, you can imagine yourself being in a different place than you are right now.

For example, if you’re feeling angry, you could imagine yourself being calm. If you’re feeling sad, you could imagine yourself happy. When you use these kinds of visualizations, you’re creating an alternate reality.

Visualizing also allows you to take control of your emotions. Instead of letting negative feelings take over, you can turn off the emotional switch inside of you.

  4. Affirmations – An affirmation is a statement of belief. It’s a declaration of who you are. A good affirmation will make you feel better about yourself.
  5. Mantras – A mantra is a word or phrase repeated over and over again. The repetition helps create a sense of peace within you.
  6. Chanting – Chanting is a great way to get rid of negative energy. There are many chants available online. One of my favorites is “Om Mani Padme Hum”.
  7. Reiki – Reiki is a Japanese technique that uses light to heal people. It works best with people who are open to receiving healing.
  8. Feng Shui – Feng shui is a Chinese art and science that teaches us how to arrange our surroundings so we can live harmoniously.
  9. Color Therapy – Some people say that color therapy can change your mood. I’ve found that certain colors can affect me positively or negatively. Red makes me feel energetic. Blue calms me down. Yellow inspires me. And black absorbs me.
  10. Crystals – Crystals are considered to be living things. They absorb negative energy just like humans do. Crystals aren’t always necessary, but they can help clear up any confusion you might have.

Protection is something everyone needs to learn. Whether you believe in God or not doesn’t matter. What matters is whether you believe in yourself.

If you don’t believe in yourself, then you’ll never succeed at anything. And if you fail at something, you won’t have much confidence in yourself. Confidence is essential when trying new things. Without it, you’ll probably give up before you even start.
